What is VAYAM?
VAYAM is a private community + directory for India's parents. We help you connect with other parents, find vetted doctors and therapists, share advice in private circles, and trade baby gear with parents you trust.
Is VAYAM free to use?
Yes — VAYAM is completely free during our beta period. After beta, basic features will remain free; premium features (priority consultations, deeper match recommendations) may be offered as an optional subscription via Apple's and Google's billing.
How does VAYAM protect my privacy?
VAYAM is fully compliant with India's DPDPA 2023. We never share your phone number, email or address publicly. PII (phone numbers, emails) is automatically masked in every public post, comment and chat. You can delete your data anytime from Settings → Privacy.
Who can use VAYAM?
Any parent in India aged 18 or older. Doctors, therapists, special educators and inclusive schools can also create verified directory listings.
How are doctors and therapists verified?
Every professional submits proof of qualification (MCI / RCI / state council registration) which is manually reviewed by our team. Verified professionals get a green badge so parents can identify them with confidence.
When will VAYAM be on the App Store and Google Play?
We're in private beta now. Drop your email on the homepage and we'll notify you the moment we go live.
