VAYAM is intended for adults aged 18 years or older.
Children do not create accounts on VAYAM.
Any information you enter regarding your child is provided by you as a parent, legal guardian or authorized caregiver, and you consent to its processing as described in this Policy.
You may voluntarily provide information about your child, including their date of birth, gender, developmental milestones, therapy goals and notes, learning preferences, interests, behavioural observations, allergies or other medical information, journal entries, educational information, and uploaded files such as photos, PDFs, and other relevant documents. This information helps us personalize your experience, enable app features, maintain your child's LifeBook, and provide AI-powered and algorithm-based recommendations, insights, developmental guidance, relevant community connections, and personalized content tailored to your child's unique needs and your parenting journey.
We do not require your child's full legal name, Aadhaar number or government-issued identification.
Professionals may submit qualifications, registration details, practice information, other details and verification documents. Verification documents are encrypted and accessible only to authorized personnel.
Payments are processed by trusted payment providers.
We do not store your credit card, UPI or bank account details.
We may store subscription status, plan type, renewal date, payment reference IDs and invoices where legally required.
We process your personal information based on your consent, to provide the services you request, to comply with applicable legal obligations, to protect the security of the Platform, and for other lawful purposes permitted under applicable data protection laws.
Certain features may use Artificial Intelligence to generate educational insights, content summaries, recommendations, moderation assistance and search results.
Information submitted to AI-enabled features is processed solely to generate the requested response and is not used to train public AI models without your permission.
We never sell your personal information.
We work with trusted providers for authentication, hosting, storage, analytics, email, AI processing, customer support, payments and push notifications.

When you delete your account, your profile and personal information become inaccessible immediately. However, certain data may continue to be retained temporarily in secure backups or where required to comply with legal, regulatory, security, or fraud prevention obligations.
Content that you have shared publicly within the Vayam community (such as posts or comments) may remain visible in an anonymized or de-identified form, unless complete deletion is technically feasible or required by applicable law.
